Job summary

qlub is a fast-growing fintech in Abu Dhabi that helps restaurants pay at the table via QR codes, with AI-assisted tools and no app download. We’re building the next generation of payment experiences for hospitality and have strong backing from Mastercard, Mubadala, and others.

The Product Intern will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to prototype, study customers, and explore market opportunities using AI, no-code, and low-code platforms.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Comfort speaking directly with customers and running structured conversations.

The role

qlub is scaling fast across markets worldwide, and we look for people who take real ownership of their work. As our next Product Intern, you'll work alongside Product, Design, and Engineering on two fronts: building fast with AI-assisted tools, and staying close to our customers and competitors. You'll ship prototypes, pages, and internal tools using AI, no-code, and low-code platforms, and back that up with structured discovery: customer calls, interviews, benchmarking, and data. If you like building things quickly and finding out what people actually need, this role is for you.

What You'll Own

• Website build - help build and iterate on a new qlub website using AI-assisted development tools, working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering
• AI tooling - research and evaluate AI tools and technologies that help us prototype and launch product experiences faster
• Rapid prototyping - create prototypes, landing pages, internal tools, and proof-of-concepts using AI, no-code, and low-code tools where appropriate
• Competitor analysis - run regular competitor analysis across restaurant discovery, payments, loyalty, offers, subscriptions, and hospitality technology, and keep feature comparisons current
• Customer feedback - call and speak with qlub customers to collect product feedback and understand pain points, and support interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Product discovery - assist Product Managers with discovery, requirements gathering, market research, and feature benchmarking
• Insights - analyse product metrics and customer behaviour, and turn research and feedback into documented insights and recommendations for the Product team
