Overview

Packaging Designer/ Product Packaging Developer to join our team. The Plan Designer must have a solid profile with a variety of examples that demonstrates creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of market and customer patterns. Knowledge with various product packaging products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the manager to develop and define consistent brand messaging and appearances on all packaging styles.
• Team up with cross-functional teams including product design, organization, retail procedures, advertising, and creative to understand their needs.
• Ideate and develop attractive styles that are on brand, on budget and adapt package/display specifications.
• Examine customer and market trends for product packaging products and perform seasonal innovative reviews as needed.
• Create and ensure the high quality, accuracy and distribution of prepared, full artwork that follows brand requirements and specs.
• Accountable for conceptualizing and managing jobs to completion including new item launches and packaging maintenance.
• Work closely with the design and management group to create brand-new retail packaging.
• Lead the plan design process including thinking, mapping out and developing prototypes.
• Team up with Supervisor to prioritize jobs, manage work, and develop efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the printing market as it connects to product packaging prepress.
