Job summary

Royal Classic in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and material sourcing for construction projects.

You will oversee the full procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, prepare purchase orders, track lead times, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Procurement or Purchasing, preferably within the Construction industry.
• Experience sourcing construction materials, MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracting services is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Request, compare, and negotiate quotations, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, commercial, and site teams to meet procurement requirements.
• Monitor material availability, orders, deliveries, and lead times.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery according to project schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and project requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and purchasing status updates for management.
