Job summary

Fujairah Confidential is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead cost-saving initiatives across Civil and MEP construction divisions. You will develop inventive procurement strategies, identify profitable suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration and proven leadership in procurement, with strong data analysis, contract review, and budget control skills to drive long-term savings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar category.
  • Experienced Procurement Manager in the construction field for both Civil and MEP.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and market reading.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Proficient in contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis.

Job Description:

Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. Reporting directly to Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Overseeing and managing the systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of materials.
  • Preparing procurement reports.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar category.
Required Experience & Licenses

An experienced Procurement Manager in the construction field for both Civil and MEP.

Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of using supply chain management software and tools (SAP, Candy Application or similar)
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Management and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
