Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Purchase Executive to oversee procurement of hardware items, building materials, construction items, hand tools and power tools for our trading operations in the UAE. You will drive procurement processes and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

The ideal candidate has a 3–5 year track record in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Hindi. Experience with procurement software and UAE market dynamics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in hardware/construction.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English & Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
• Knowledge of the Gulf region's market dynamics and business practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for hardware, building materials, construction items, hand tools and power tools.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors in the UAE Gulf region.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best prices and terms.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in procurement activities.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business goals.
