Job summary

Airalo, a fully remote travel tech company, seeks a Procurement Lead to build and govern our procurement function from the ground up. You will design purchasing processes, drive savings, and embed P2P into our ERP while partnering across Networks, Marketing, and Technology.

The role reports to the CFO and focuses on high-value negotiations, supplier risk, and cross-functional governance to fund growth and protect EBITDA. This is a senior, builder role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial/category management.
• Deep category expertise across indirect spend (marketing, IT/SaaS, professional services).
• Track record of running competitive tenders and complex negotiations with measurable savings.
• Hands-on experience designing PO/PR and purchase-to-pay processes in an ERP environment.
• Strong command of procurement policy, delegation of authority, supplier risk, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and roll out Airalo's procurement policy, delegation-of-authority thresholds, supplier onboarding, and competitive-tendering standards.
• Establish clear approval workflows that bring control without slowing the business.
• Own category strategies across major spend areas: network, IT/SaaS, S&M, and professional services.
• Build a single source of truth with spend visibility and vendor taxonomy; ensure credit terms are standardised.
• Lead competitive sourcing and high-value negotiations with a total-cost-of-ownership approach.
