Job summary

General Counsel Consulting seeks an experienced procurement professional in Dubai to source base oils, additives, and packaging for production needs. You will build a reliable supplier base, negotiate terms, and manage RFQs and purchase orders while coordinating with production, warehouse and finance teams.

The role requires 8–10 years in procurement, preferably within the lubricants/grease industry in UAE/GCC, with strong supplier networks and knowledge of base oils and lubricant additives

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of procurement experience
• Experience in lubricants/grease industry in UAE/GCC preferred
• Knowledge of base oils and lubricant additives beneficial

Responsibilities

• Source and procure base oils, additives, chemicals, packaging materials and other production requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and commercial conditions.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations and issue purchase orders.
• Monitor market pricing and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, sales and finance teams on procurement requirements.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent material shortages.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, pricing and delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier records and reports.
