Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in the UAE seeks an experienced professional to lead warehouse and sorting center process planning for the Middle East logistics business. You will analyze data, design layouts, select equipment, and generate ROI analyses to drive efficiency and cost savings.

The role demands 3+ years in process or automation planning, fluency in English, and CAD proficiency. Travel within the Middle East may be required as part of cross-border logistics projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics and supply chain management, Automation, or related field.
• Fluent in English for meetings, reports, and project communication.
• 3+ years in process planning or automation planning; knowledge of warehousing layout and equipment.
• Experience in Middle East or cross-border logistics planning preferred.
• Strong data analysis capability with CAD for warehouse layouts and at least one data analysis tool (Excel/SQL/Python).
• Strong project coordination and cross-departmental communication; willingness to travel within the Middle East region.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse and Sorting center process planning, with data analysis, layout output, and ROI analysis; optimize operations to reduce costs.
• Automation planning and implementation, design layout and system links (WMS/WCS/TMS) for automated equipment.
• Pre-sales planning: participate in client meetings, interpret RFPs, draft process plans and bid documents.
• Standardization system construction: develop layout and process standards and cross-department collaboration in Middle East warehouses.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Warehouse and Sorting center Process Planning: Responsible for the process planning of warehouse and sorting center for Middle East logistics business, including data analysis, process design, working route design, equipment selection, functional area layout, etc., output CAD layout plans and ROI analysis; continuously improves logistics operation efficiency through process optimizations and reduces operating costs.
2. Automation Planning and Implementation: Familiar with Eruopean and international automated logistics technology and scenarios, combining local operational characteristics in Europe, design the selection, layout, and system integration of automated equipment, promote the connection and implementation of automated equipment with various internal system links (such as WMS、WCS、TMS), ensuring the feasibility of the technical solution.
3. Pre-sales Planning: For pre-sales projects, participate in customer communication and needs research, interpret RFP documents, independently complete process planning and technical bid documents writing, providing professional and implementable warehousing planning and automation solutions for project bidding.
4. Planning for the Standardization System Construction: Sort out and improve the layout standards of process planning, equipment selection and configuration standards, process optimization execution rules, management standards, and cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms within the Middle East warehouses, to promote the accumulation and replication of standardized capabilities.

Job Requirements

1. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, majors in Industrial Engineering, Logistics and supply chain management, Automation, and other related fields.
2. Language Requirement: Fluent in English, capable of using it as a working language for meetings, reports, and project communication.
3. Work Experience: More than 3 years of experience in process planning or automation planning. Familiar with the layout logic of warehousing/processing centers, operation process design and the characteristics of common logistics equipment. Those with experience in Middle East or cross-border logistics planning are preferred.
4. Professional Skills: Possess rigorous logical thinking and data sensitivity, capable of independently completing complex scheme data analysis and ROI calculation. Proficient in using CAD for warehouse layout drawing, and master at least one data analysis tool (such as Excel, SQL, Python).
5. Soft Skills: Possess strong project coordination and cross-departmental communication skills, and be able to adapt to periodic business trips within the Middle East region; be good at summarizing and extracting, and have the ability to quickly learn and consolidate methodologies.
