Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in process engineering within the water treatment industry.
• GCC/UAE experience is mandatory and strong plant-desalination expertise.
• Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment and desalination plants.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop process solutions for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination plants.
• Prepare process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications.
• Conduct process design reviews and ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Perform equipment sizing and selection for pumps, membranes, filters, chemical dosing systems, clarifiers, pressure vessels, and associated treatment equipment.
• Support proposal, engineering, procurement, and project execution teams during all project phases.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
• Optimize plant performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support the design, engineering, and optimization of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination plants. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in process design, engineering calculations, equipment selection, and plant performance optimization, along with proven Gulf-region experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop process solutions for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination plants.
• Prepare process calculations, process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications.
• Conduct process design reviews and ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Perform equipment sizing and selection for pumps, membranes, filters, chemical dosing systems, clarifiers, pressure vessels, and associated treatment equipment.
• Support proposal, engineering, procurement, and project execution teams during all project phases.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in process engineering within the water treatment industry.
• Proven experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Desalination Plants.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Desalination experience (RO, SWRO, BWRO, or similar technologies).
• GCC/UAE experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in the design and engineering of water and desalination plants.
• Well‑versed in process calculations, equipment sizing, and technical documentation.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing technical proposals and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of international standards and water treatment technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
