Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, engineering, commissioning, and operation of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination plants. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical systems design, power distribution, and automation within the water sector, with mandatory GCC experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
Proven experience in the design of electrical and control equipment for infrastructure projects.
Strong hands-on experience in designing electrical control panels, including MCC, PLC, VFD, and automation panels.
Experience in power distribution systems, electrical protection, and industrial control systems.
Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, and desalination projects will be an added advantage.
GCC experience is mandatory.
Familiarity with electrical engineering software such as AutoCAD and related design tools.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems and control solutions for infrastructure and industrial projects.
Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.
Design and develop electrical control panels, PLC panels, MCC panels, VFD panels, and automation control systems.
Perform load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selection, and power distribution design.
Review project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and project teams during project execution.
Support procurement activities through technical evaluations and vendor coordination.
Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant international standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, and engineering reports.
