Job summary

Calo Inc. is seeking a Private Label Manager to lead the end-to-end private label strategy and product roadmap across multiple categories.

You will identify opportunities from market and customer insights, then drive development, launch, and commercialization with cross-functional teams. You will negotiate with manufacturers, manage packaging and regulatory requirements, and shape pricing, margins, and go-to-market plans across Marketplace and retail channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in Private Label, Category Management, Product Management, Buying, FMCG, Retail, or Food Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end private label strategy and product roadmap across multiple categories.
• Identify new product opportunities via customer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis.
• Lead development and launch of new products from concept to commercialization.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Nutrition, QA, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Growth, Operations, and Finance teams to bring products to market.
• Develop pricing and commercial strategies balancing customer value and profitability.
• Manage product specs, packaging, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor sales, margins, feedback, and category performance to optimize portfolio.
• Lead product launches and ensure go-to-market execution across channels.
• Build business cases, forecast demand, and manage profitability with Finance.
• Optimize assortment by adding new SKUs and retiring underperformers.
• Track portfolio KPIs and drive revenue, margins, quality, and customer experience initiatives.
