Principal IT Pillar Specialist – Digital Twin – Dubai, UAE – Full-time – Industry: IT and Services

Salary: AED 18,000 – 28,000 Monthly (Market estimated)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement end-to-end Digital Twin solutions based on project and client requirements
• Work closely with Digital System Integrators and internal IT teams to deploy Digital Twin platforms successfully
• Integrate data from IoT sensors, SCADA systems, enterprise databases, and simulation platforms into unified Digital Twin environments
• Support development of forecasting models, metadata management, and data integration strategies for major projects
• Provide functional and technical design input and deliver implementation of approved solution architecture
• Assist with SIT and UAT activities for Digital Twin systems and associated platform developments
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to classify incidents as bugs or enhancements and support prioritization
• Define requirements aligned with SDLC standards, management goals, and project scope
• Analyze business process flows and use cases to create efficient system and process improvement requirements
• Prepare conceptual, FEED, and detailed design inputs for Digital Twin project execution
• Interface with departments and client representatives to collect requirements and refine use case design
• Raise technical queries, clarify missing scope details, and maintain compliance with McDermott standards
• Develop departmental technical guidelines and support continuous improvement through lessons learned
• Participate in design workshops, testing sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings
• Maintain transparent communication and provide timely project status and milestone reporting

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• 4 to 6 years of Digital project implementation experience within the Oil and Gas industry
• Proven experience in IT solution evaluation, selection, and delivery within budget and timeline targets
• Strong background in Digital Twin applications across Engineering, Construction, or Operations and Maintenance
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, HYSYS, or similar simulation platforms
• Knowledge of machine learning and ML Ops principles is an added advantage
• Familiarity with cloud service providers and cloud-native model deployment environments
• Understanding of IT and OT Cybersecurity essentials for industrial system design
• Strong API knowledge and data integration experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
