Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer in Dubai to design, deploy, and optimize AI/ML infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and cloud teams to ensure scalable, secure AI/ML deployments across our cloud platform.

In this senior role, you will lead architecture efforts, guide junior engineers, and stay ahead of evolving AI/ML technologies, ensuring best practices and documentation are maintained for enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in scripting and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Slurm, PBS, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong documentation skills for infrastructure designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of AI/ML infrastructure with performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement and maintain AI/ML infrastructure ensuring reliable operations.
• Collaborate with customer teams to understand AI/ML requirements and provide solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into our cloud platform with the cloud services team.
• Ensure secure deployment of AI/ML models and data following best practices.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with AI/ML tech trends and drive innovation within the team.
• Document infrastructure designs and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
