Job summary

DeepLight AI in the UAE is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to lead enterprise-scale AI programs. You will design and deploy production-grade ML systems, evangelize best practices, and mentor a cross-functional team of AI engineers, data scientists, and data engineers.

You will work directly with C-suite and Engineering Leads, translate business challenges into technical roadmaps, ensure security and governance, and deliver scalable, compliant AI solutions across the region.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
• 8+ years in software engineering, ML, and AI platform development with leadership experience.
• Deep technical command of PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, vector databases, and cloud MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy enterprise-grade ML models, DL pipelines, RAG systems, and LLM frameworks on cloud infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to C-suite and Engineering Leads.
• Direct and mentor a team of AI engineers and data specialists, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
• Ensure AI security, governance, and ethical considerations across reviews and risk committees.
