Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain AI/ML infrastructure that powers customer deployments. You will work with data scientists, software engineers, and cloud teams to optimize performance, security, and cost-effectiveness across proofs of concept and production environments.

You will guide architecture, implement automation, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with AI/ML trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Slurm, PBS).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation skills to document infrastructure designs and procedures.
• Strong Linux skills with Oracle Linux/RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian including admin tasks and performance optimization.
