Job summary

Analog seeks a Principal AI Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead AI capability across delivery, from model selection and evaluation through to guardrails and human in the loop design.

You will set the standard for responsible AI at Analog, embed AI tooling into day to day engineering workflows, and own the technical roadmap for AI capability within Hive. The role involves collaboration with platform architecture, regulators, and clients, and is based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience leading AI or ML in a product or platform team.
• Direct experience with model selection, evaluation, and guardrail design in production systems.
• Strong interest in responsible AI and ability to set standards under scrutiny.

Responsibilities

• Lead model selection and evaluation for AI capability across delivery teams, matching the model to the operational need.
• Design guardrails and human in the loop workflows that keep AI outputs safe, explainable, and trusted by operators.
• Own the technical roadmap for AI capability within Hive, prioritising work against measurable outcomes.
• Partner with the principal solution architect to ensure AI components fit into the wider platform architecture.
