Job summary

Smart Vision School in Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover from 19 October 2026 to 26 February 2027. The successful candidate will join the Primary team, ensuring continuity of learning, strong pastoral care and high expectations throughout the maternity period.

The role requires delivering the National Curriculum for England, with a focus on effective pedagogy, assessment, and building positive relationships with students, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a PGCE/QTS or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching within the British curriculum or international schools.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons and secure student progress.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting SEND and EAL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Monitor and support student progress and achievement.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, presentation and engagement.
• Collaborate with year group colleagues, teaching assistants and leaders.
• Contribute to pastoral provision, safeguarding culture and school events.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
