Job summary

Smart Vision School in Dubai invites applications for a Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 19 October 2026 to 26 February 2027. The successful candidate will teach the National Curriculum for England, join a supportive Primary team and help maintain continuity of learning during the absence.

You should hold a PGCE with QTS or equivalent, a related Bachelor's degree, and experience in British curriculum primary settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with PGCE/QTS or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience teaching in the British primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
• Ensure continuity of curriculum delivery during maternity cover.
• Use assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Create inclusive, stimulating classroom environments.
• Support SEND and EAL needs and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with year group colleagues and teaching assistants.
• Contribute to pastoral care and safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and feedback for reports.
