Job summary

The Arbor School Dubai seeks an exceptional SENDCo to join our Primary team and support the Head of Inclusion in promoting learning, wellbeing and personal development for pupils with SEND. The role coordinates SEND across the Primary School and aligns with our mission and Arbor Promise.

You will collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals to ensure every learner thrives within an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Native-level English language skills.
• NASENCO or equivalent.
• National Award for SEN Coordination is desired.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN or inclusion-focused roles in the UK or a reputable British school.
• Track record of outstanding teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SEND provision across the Primary phase.
• Ensure inclusive practice is embedded across teaching and learning.
• Coordinate SEND provision and liaise with staff, families and external professionals.
• Deliver professional development for teachers and learning support staff.
• Monitor pupil progress and the impact of SEND interventions.
