Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with Bachelor’s degree and recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed.).
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and inclusive teaching practices.
• Experience in SEND provision, differentiation, and personalised learning in primary settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist teaching and learning support for primary students with SEND.
• Plan targeted interventions addressing barriers while ensuring access to the English curriculum.
• Adapt teaching content, activities, and assessments to individual needs.
• Apply differentiation, scaffolding, and personalised strategies to support meaningful participation.
• Collaborate with class teachers to embed inclusive practice in daily lessons.
• Monitor attainment and use evidence to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Establish learning goals and foster student confidence, independence, and engagement.
• Maintain records of interventions, progress, and student development.
