- Proposals: Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs and tenders (solution narratives, compliance matrices, SoWs) and build ROI/TCO business cases.
- Deal strategy: Shape pricing inputs and win themes with account managers, and use Microsoft funding programs (FastTrack, partner funding, Azure credits).
- Customer engagement: Deliver presentations, demos, PoCs and envisioning workshops up to C-level; handle objections and competitive positioning (e.g. vs. Google Workspace, AWS); support licensing optimisation and adoption roadmaps.
- Handover and enablement: Ensure clean handover to delivery (scope, assumptions, risks), work with Microsoft partner teams, build reusable presales assets and mentor junior consultants.
- Market awareness: Track the Microsoft roadmap (incl. Copilot, security and AI) and contribute to new offerings, content and events.
