Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years in presales, solution engineering, data or AI roles.
• Familiarity with defense IT engagements and defense security concepts.
• Experience with on-premises, private or sovereign cloud environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic preferred.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and customer-facing documentation.

We are seeking a motivated Presales Architect, Big Data & AI to support the design and positioning of secure AI, data and analytics solutions for defense and security customers. The role bridges mission requirements with technical solution design, working closely with capability teams, delivery teams, technology partners and account managers to develop compelling solution proposals and customer presentations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fundamentals in data platforms and AI with familiarity with defense IT engagements and excellent communication skills. Arabic language proficiency is strongly preferred. The role offers exposure across solution architecture, presales, proposal development and defense AI implementations.

• Support customer discovery sessions to understand defense business and technical requirements.
• Develop high-level solution designs for secure, on-premises and air-gapped environments.
• Prepare solution documentation, architecture diagrams and responses for defense RFPs and tenders.
• Assist in effort estimation, scope definition and solution sizing.

Proposal Development

• Develop proposal content including executive summaries, solution descriptions, assumptions and implementation approaches.
• Coordinate with capabilities, delivery and commercial teams during proposal preparation.
• Maintain reusable proposal templates, solution assets and architecture collateral.
• Ensure consistency and quality across customer-facing technical documents.

Technical Engagement

• Present solution concepts and demonstrations to customers in English and Arabic.
• Design and deliver proofs of concept (POCs) to validate solution fit with customers.
• Support technical discussions around AI, data platforms, analytics and defense use cases.
• Coordinate with technology partners to obtain product information, technical guidance and licensing inputs.

Delivery Collaboration

• Ensure proposed solutions are practical and implementable in secure, restricted environments.
• Support knowledge transfer from presales into project delivery.
• Assist with solution documentation during project initiation and transition phases.

Market & Capability Development

• Stay current with developments in AI, Generative AI, Data Engineering and defense technology.
• Contribute to internal solution accelerators, reusable architectures and best practices.
• Participate in technical workshops, partner enablement sessions and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Approximately 4-8 years of experience in presales, solution engineering, data or AI roles.
• Familiarity with defense IT engagements (defense ministries, armed forces or defense primes).
• Understanding of defense security, data classification and data management practices.
• Working knowledge of on-premises, private or sovereign cloud and Azure, AWS or GCP ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Big Data, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, Data Lakes and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG and AI agent architecture.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and customer-facing solution documentation.
• Exposure to enterprise integration, APIs and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; Arabic speaker strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to engage and manage senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience planning and delivering POCs and technical demonstrations.
• Cloud, Databricks, AI or security certifications are advantageous.
