Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Attendant to join our on-site team. You will deliver warm, professional service, present menus, take orders, and ensure accurate payments in line with hotel standards.

You'll maintain product knowledge, support upselling, and coordinate with Kitchen and Bar to create memorable guest experiences. A friendly, well-groomed professional with English skills is preferred, and flexibility to work shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Provide attentive and efficient Food & Beverage service in accordance with hotel standards.
• Present menus, take guest orders accurately, and provide recommendations when required.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure correct presentation.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and available products.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Promote menu items and support upselling opportunities.
• Prepare tables and service areas before, during, and after operations.
• Ensure tables, equipment, and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Communicate guest feedback, special requests, and concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
