Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled grinder operator to operate surface, cylindrical, and centerless grinders. You will ensure dimensional accuracy and inspect finished parts to meet tight tolerances.

You will read blueprints, select grinding wheels, perform dressing, and ensure safe handling of materials. This role requires standing for long periods and strong hand-eye coordination within a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, centerless).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of grinding wheels, abrasives, and dressing techniques.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and PPE usage.
• Experience with hazardous materials or environments.

Responsibilities
