Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Dubai is seeking a skilled grinder operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate surface, cylindrical, and centerless grinders to tight tolerances in line with blueprints.

You must read technical drawings, select grinding wheels, and perform dressing as needed. The role requires standing for long periods, strong manual dexterity, and strict adherence to safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating surface, cylindrical, and centerless grinding machines.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of grinding wheel types, abrasives, and dressing techniques.
• Must stand for long periods and handle heavy materials.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Familiar with workplace safety standards and PPE usage.
• Experience with hazardous materials or environments.
