Job summary

Egen is seeking a proactive Forward Deployed Engineer to drive pre-sales activities in Dubai. You will design bespoke solutions, tailor product demos to client industries, and collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft proposals and timelines.

You will guide on product capabilities, integration strategies, and deployment best practices, while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the sales cycle and supporting RFP/RFI processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting or technical sales support.
• Experience as Forward Deployed Engineer or similar balancing sales and delivery.
• Experience with proposal development and RFP/RFI responses.
• Strong go-to-market industry knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke solutions through discovery sessions aligned with business needs and technical constraints
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to client industries
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to create detailed proposals and implementation timelines
• Provide expert-level guidance on product capabilities, integration strategies, and deployment best practices
• Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
• Assist sales teams during RFP/RFI processes
• Support the transition of client expectations and success criteria for delivery initialization
• Serve as a strategic delivery resource for 50% of your time, contributing to key accounts and solution implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales support
• Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) or in a role balancing technical sales with hands-on delivery
• Experience with proposal development and RFP/RFI responses
• Strong understanding of go-to-market industries and technical challenges
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
