The role emphasizes detailed take-offs, BOQ preparation and cost analysis, with strong focus on tendering processes and subcontractor bid comparisons on large-scale building projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pre-contracts / estimation experience within the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Proficiency in take-offs, BOQ preparation and detailed cost analysis.
• Strong knowledge of tendering processes and subcontractor bid comparisons.
• Experience working with major contractors on large-scale building projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from tender drawings and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates and pricing for tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to support procurement decisions.
• Prepare tender submission documents, clarifications and qualifications.
• Coordinate with the business development team to track tender opportunities and deadlines.
• Support post-tender negotiations and handover of awarded projects to the contracts team.
• Maintain historical cost data and benchmarks to improve future estimating accuracy.
