M R I C S PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT seeks a Cost Consultant Quantity Surveyor based in Dubai to develop detailed cost estimates and BoQs from tender drawings and specs. The role emphasizes pre-contract QS activities and value engineering within a dynamic project environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years in pre-contract quantity surveying, with strong take-off and client liaison capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience in Main Contractor Tender Department.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in pre-contract quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in preparing take off for detailed Bills of Quantities for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) from tender drawings and specifications.
• Analyze tender documents to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify project details and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare take-offs for BOQ accuracy from tender drawings and specs.
