Job summary

Albatha Group seeks a Civil QA/QC Engineer – Power to ensure civil works for substations and power infrastructure are built to approved drawings, specifications and client requirements. You will implement QA/QC processes, inspect activities, identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6–10 years of QA/QC experience in substation or power projects.
• Experience reviewing civil drawings, specifications and submittals.
• Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, grouting, waterproofing and structural works.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Management Plans and ITPs per project/client requirements.
• Review civil drawings, specifications, and material submittals for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections of substation construction activities.
• Raise and close IRs, MIRs, NCRs and other quality records.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure standards are met.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure adherence to approved procedures and specs.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
