Uae Job Alert in Abu Dhabi (Al Taweelah) seeks a Field Operator – Energy to monitor and operate gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, and utility systems. You will ensure safe, reliable plant operations and assist with startup, shutdown, testing, and recommissioning during maintenance.

The role requires at least 4 years in power generation or industrial plant operations, familiarity with single-line diagrams, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in power generation, energy, utilities, or industrial plant operations.
• Experience in thermal power plants, combined cycle plants, or desalination facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, and utility systems.
• Ability to read and understand single-line diagrams and plant operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs and utility systems.
• Follow instructions from the Shift Supervisor and Main Control Room Operator to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
• Record operating parameters and report abnormal readings, equipment faults, or performance issues promptly.
• Prepare standby equipment for immediate operation during maintenance activities or emergency situations.
• Assist with equipment start-up, shutdown, testing, and recommissioning following planned maintenance.
• Participate in preventive operational checks to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
