Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking a Field Operator in Abu Dhabi. The role involves monitoring plant equipment and ensuring safe operations as per control room instructions. Key responsibilities include operating field equipment, maintaining records, and supporting emergency handling procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in gas-based DRI petrochemical or fertilizer plants. Experience in HYL DRI plant operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in large Gas-Based DRI Petrochemical or Fertilizer plants.
• Experience in HYL DRI plant operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, pumps, compressors, turbines, and plant safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor field equipment in coordination with the control room.
• Set equipment and valve positions as required for process operations.
• Ensure safe isolation and handover of equipment for maintenance activities.
