Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Pool & Beach Manager or equivalent leadership role in luxury hotel or premium venue.
• Deep understanding of luxury pool/beach operations, guest experience and service standards.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage teams, build relationships and lead by example.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and guest recovery skills.
• Commercial awareness with focus on revenue opportunities and operational efficiency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pool and beach operations to deliver an elevated guest experience.
• Create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere reflecting Delano's personality and service philosophy.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, comfort and guest safety.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle feedback with confidence to personalize interactions.
• Coordinate with F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other teams.
• Manage loungers, cabanas, reservations and peak-period operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Guest Experience & Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of our pool & beach areas, ensuring a seamless, elevated guest experience.

• Create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere that reflects Delano's distinctive personality & service philosophy.

• Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, comfort & guest safety.

• Anticipate guest needs, handle feedback with confidence & ensure every interaction feels personal.

• Coordinate closely with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security & other operational teams.

• Ensure smooth management of loungers, cabanas, reservations, guest arrivals & peak-period operations.

People Leadership

• Lead, coach & inspire the pool and beach team to deliver consistently exceptional service.

• Build a positive, collaborative team culture where colleagues feel empowered to take ownership of the guest experience.

• Oversee team scheduling, training, performance & day-to-day operational briefings.

• Identify development opportunities & support the growth of team members.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to maximise pool and beach revenue opportunities.

• Support the development of guest experiences, promotions & seasonal initiatives.

• Monitor operational performance, guest feedback & service standards, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Manage departmental resources, supplies & operating costs responsibly.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene & emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Pool & Beach Manager, Beach Club Manager, Assistant Outlet Manager or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort or premium lifestyle venue.

• Strong understanding of luxury pool and beach operations, guest experience & service standards.

• A natural leader who can motivate teams, build relationships & lead by example.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal & guest recovery skills.

• Commercial awareness, with an understanding of revenue opportunities and operational efficiency.

• Confident working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail & a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends & public holidays as required.
