Job summary

Ennismore’s DELANO Dubai on Bluewaters Island seeks a Junior Supervisor at Rose Bar to support day-to-day operations and uphold the refined yet relaxed guest experience that defines DELANO. You will lead by example on the floor and guide the team through service, ensuring consistent standards throughout the shift.

Collaborating with bar, kitchen and wider F&B teams, you will drive guest engagement, manage mise-en-place, and maintain cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in luxury hotel or premium F&B environments.
• Emerging leadership skills with floor guidance.
• Guest-focused approach balancing polish with DELANO’s relaxed style.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service sequence.
• Knowledge of premium beverages, wines and cocktails is a plus.

Job Description

As a Junior Supervisor at Rose Bar, DELANO Dubai, you will support the day-to-day operation of the bar, helping the team deliver a refined yet relaxed guest experience that reflects the distinctive spirit of DELANO. Working closely with the leadership team, you will lead by example on the floor, support colleagues throughout service and ensure our standards are consistently delivered.

Guest Experience: Lead by example in delivering warm, intuitive and personalised service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects DELANO’s lifestyle luxury standards.

Floor Supervision: Support the smooth running of daily operations, monitoring service flow, table readiness and guest experience throughout the shift.

Team Support & Guidance: Provide hands-on guidance to the team during service, helping colleagues maintain standards and responding quickly when additional support is needed.

Service Standards: Ensure sequence of service, presentation and operational standards are consistently followed while maintaining the relaxed and effortless feel of Rose Bar.

Guest Engagement: Build genuine relationships with guests, anticipate their needs and create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.

Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage and food offering and ensure the team can confidently explain and recommend products to guests.

Revenue Awareness: Support the team in naturally recommending beverages, signature offerings and experiences that enhance both guest satisfaction and revenue.

Operational Readiness: Support opening and closing procedures, mise-en-place, station allocation and overall readiness of the venue before and throughout service.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the bar, kitchen and wider F&B teams to maintain seamless communication and an efficient service flow.

Guest Recovery: Respond confidently to guest feedback or concerns, resolving straightforward matters promptly and escalating where appropriate.

Standards & Compliance: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, grooming and health & safety standards are consistently maintained across the operation.

Qualifications

Relevant Experience: Previous experience within a luxury hotel, high-end bar, restaurant or lifestyle hospitality environment, ideally with exposure to a senior waiter/waitress, captain or junior supervisory role.

Emerging Leadership Skills: You are ready to take the next step into leadership, comfortable guiding colleagues on the floor and setting a positive example through your own performance.

Guest-Focused: You naturally connect with guests and understand how to balance polished service with the relaxed, individual personality of DELANO.

F&B Knowledge: Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, sequence of service and luxury hospitality standards. Knowledge of premium beverages, wines and cocktails is an advantage.

Operational Confidence: You are organised, attentive and able to maintain service standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across the bar, kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Problem Solving: You remain calm under pressure and can make sensible decisions during service, knowing when to resolve an issue independently and when to involve a senior leader.

Educational Background: A relevant hospitality qualification is preferred but practical experience, attitude and potential are equally valued.
