Job summary

PeopleStrong in Dubai is seeking an experienced Site Engineer/Project Coordinator to plan, supervise piling and foundation construction, ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC, and support the Project Manager from planning to delivery.

You will interpret drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, prepare progress reports, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to manage project docs and reports.
• Experience in piling and foundation construction; ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE standards on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise piling and foundation construction activities.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring and delivering assigned projects.
• Ensure works adhere to drawings, specs, method statements and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against schedule and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs and contract documents to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain documentation.
• Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment, and material consumption.
• Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials and site resources.
• Supervise Site Engineers, Foremen, Surveyors and subcontractors.
• Attend project coordination meetings with clients and management.
• Identify risks and site constraints, implement corrective actions.
• Verify quantities and measurements for progress billing and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with QA/QC and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with budgets, schedules and contractual requirements.
• Maintain RFIs, material approvals, inspection requests and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Support project planning, resource forecasting, project close-out and handover.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, PPE requirements, and company safety procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise piling and foundation construction activities.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering assigned projects.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and recommend corrective actions when required.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment utilization, and material consumption.
• Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Supervise Site Engineers, Foremen, Surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager, Project Director, or Project Manager.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of piling and foundation construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE standards applicable to construction projects.
