Parsons is seeking a PMO Construction Specialist to support wastewater infrastructure delivery within its Project Management Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role combines PMO governance with construction delivery oversight across wastewater networks, pumping stations, trunk mains, trunk sewers, collection systems, deep sewer tunnels and treatment-related assets. Working across a multi-stakeholder programme, the specialist will support schedule, cost, risk, quality, HSE, reporting, commissioning, handover activities while maintaining effective coordination between project teams, consultants, contractors, authorities and operations personnel.
Monitor project schedules and construction progress with particular attention to critical activities and potential delivery constraints. The role will support critical path monitoring, monthly reporting, construction risk registers and programme-level visibility of issues affecting wastewater project delivery. Responsibilities will also include supporting budgets and forecasts and helping teams identify, document, monitor and respond to construction risks.
The PMO Construction Specialist will maintain structured oversight through established governance processes and provide accurate information for programme decision-making. This includes supporting stage-gate requirements, change management, risk tracking, document control and regular performance reporting. Dashboards, reports and presentations will be prepared for senior stakeholders to communicate construction status, emerging issues, risks and other relevant programme information.
The role will contribute to ongoing improvement of PMO construction management practices by capturing lessons learned, reviewing delivery experience and recommending improvements to programme processes, governance tools and reporting approaches.
