Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Manager – Construction & Installation for ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on planning, execution, and supervision of civil works, onshore fabrication, offshore transport and installation, and brown-field modifications.

Wood is hiring an experienced PMC Manager – Construction & Installation for ADNOC Offshore client in Abu Dhabi. The position is full‑time at the client office and focuses on managing civil work, onshore fabrication, offshore transportation, and installation of components and brown‑field modifications.

As PMC Manager you will own the planning and execution of the Islands U/G civil works, onshore fabrication, and the offshore transportation and installation/mechanical completion of components. You will lead construction efforts, manage Construction Leaders, and keep projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore, project procedures, and shareholder expectations.

Key Objectives

• Develop comprehensive project plans and detailed schedules in coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish accurate cost estimates, control budgets, and recommend cost‑effective alternatives.
• Ensure all construction work meets required standards and specifications.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contracts with consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and delays to stakeholders.
• Facilitate clear communication among all parties to maintain alignment and information flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction team to support project objectives and strategies.

• Manage On Island Construction teams responsible for planning, development, and operations to ensure construction execution certainty.
• Coordinate Contractor’s construction planning and execution to meet project objectives and obligations.
• Establish a construction organization, implement execution plans, and coordinate resourcing of construction team positions.
• Provide construction and execution strategy support through oversight and assistance.
• Ensure Contractor and Subcontractors comply with project safety expectations, policies, and procedures.
• Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for construction, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing all Contractor safety plans.
• Steward interfaces and interactions between the Contractor and other project functions (Production Operations, Drilling).
• Manage the interface with ADNOC Offshore OPCO to execute brownfield works while minimizing disruption to ongoing production.
• Ensure detailed design deliverables support constructability.
• Report construction progress, performance, initiatives, and issues to the Project Team.
• Lead construction planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities.
• Sponsor construction readiness reviews, constructability workshops, and CERs.
• Mentor and train UAE Nationals in construction management.
• Communicate short‑term and long‑term goals to direct reports, supporting project objectives.
• Encourage and recognize outstanding performance, ensuring staff are appraised and developed regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (essential).
• Offshore experience and brown‑field experience.
• Minimum 20 years of experience on large oil and gas projects, including offshore.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work across diverse cultures.
