Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure swimmer safety and carry out pool maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a valid Lifeguard License and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include monitoring the pool area, performing rescue operations, conducting regular water quality tests, and ensuring the cleanliness of pool facilities. Strong communication and physical fitness are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pool chemicals, dosing systems, and filtration units.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents/guests.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the pool area to ensure swimmer safety.

• Maintain logs of pool usage and incidents.
• Test water chemistry twice daily and inform the Supervisor of the results.
• Skim debris, vacuum the pool floor, and scrub tiles/edges.

Job description

Maintain a daily log of pool usage and incidents.

2. Pool Maintenance & Cleaning

Water Quality: Test water chemistry (pH, Chlorine, Alkalinity) twice daily and inform the Supervisor of the results

Cleaning: Skim debris from the water surface, vacuum the pool floor, and scrub the pool tiles/edges.

Hygiene: Ensure the pool deck, shower areas, and changing rooms are clean and hazard-free.

Requirements

Certification: Valid Lifeguard License

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar dual role.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of pool chemicals, dosing systems, and filtration units.

Soft Skills: Alert, physically fit, and able to communicate clearly with residents/guests
