Job summary

Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a vigilant Pool Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and guest well-being, maintaining a welcoming swimming environment.

You will monitor activities, enforce rules, respond to emergencies with first aid/CPR, and support hotel guests with courteous service while adhering to UAE safety standards.

A valid lifeguard certification and current first aid/CPR/AED are required, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Minimum 1 year of lifeguarding experience preferred.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming pool activities and ensure the safety of all guests and residents.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR when required.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities and safety equipment.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with pool-related inquiries.
• Ensure all rescue and emergency equipment is readily available and in good condition.
