Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Plant Performance Engineer to lead efficiency initiatives across power generation and desalination assets. The role focuses on optimizing energy conversion, reliability, and commercial performance by driving proactive maintenance and performance analytics.

Responsibilities include developing monitoring systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering weekly and monthly KPI reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 8 years' experience in Plant Performance Engineering in large power generation/desalination environments.
• 3+ years in supervisory role; power and desalination plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for plant performance and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement performance monitoring and data validation systems.
• Manage KPI reporting and on/offsite dashboards with stakeholders.
• Plan maintenance strategies, PM schedules, and MoC processes in Intelex.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain and HR to optimize site performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports, budgets, and schedules for the BPP team.
