Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Plant Manager to lead operations for the ELM business in the United Arab Emirates. You will oversee end-to-end manufacturing, logistics, and quality controls to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery to the sales organization and customers.

You will drive the Oracle manufacturing system implementation, enforce HSE standards, and optimize production and delivery processes while coordinating with Sales, Technical, and Logistics teams to meet plant objectives.

Qualifications

• A university graduate in Chemical Engineering.
• 10–15 years experience in Lubricant or similar industry.
• 7–10 years in Production / Logistics / Quality systems and controls.
• Exposure to QHSE quality systems preferred.
• Strong man management skills with training, development and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth end-to-end operations to provide timely, quality products to customers.
• Lead and drive the implementation of the Oracle manufacturing system.
• Oversee liaison with third party / toll manufacturing customers.
• Set up vendor/service provider selection, evaluation and development programs.
• Establish logistics and up-country stock control and monitoring program.
• Ensure safe plant operations, complying with local and group regulations, and coordinating with HSE authorities.
• Demonstrate management commitment through active participation in developing HSE systems.
• Plan production to meet sales orders and inventory targets with efficient processes.
• Optimize resources, production and delivery processes on a continuous basis.
• Develop and update the strategic plan for overall Plant development with Sales, Technical and Logistics.
• Propose, agree & execute CAPEX budgets / contracts within the specified time frame.
• Identify, coordinate and lead staff training to drive leadership and motivation.

Job Purpose

Responsible for Operations in the Plant organization and ensure smooth operations across the entire supply chain.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensures smooth end to end operations of the company to provide timely and quality products to the sales organization & other customers.
• Leads and drives the implementation of the Oracle manufacturing system.
• Ensures a system for optimal liaison and support to third party / toll manufacturing customers of the company.
• Sets up and operates vendor / service provider selection, evaluation and development programs.
• Sets up logistics and up-country stock points inventory control and monitoring program.
• Ensures safe running of the Plant, including people & equipment, by adhering to Group & Local regulations, as well as coordinating with HSE authorities. Overall responsibility of Loss Control with respect to the Plant.
• Demonstrates visibly, Management commitment through active participation in developing HSE Management system and provides necessary resources.
• Ensures timely availability of products, with acceptable & agreed quality & service levels by efficient planning of production processes meeting the sales orders and inventory levels.
• Ensures optimization of resources, production & delivery processes on a continuous basis.
• Formulates and Updates the strategic plan for the overall Plant development to reach the Plant objectives as decided by the Management, in coordination with the Sales, Technical as well as Logistics functions of TFE MEFZE.
• Proposes, agrees & executes CAPEX budgets / contracts within the specified time frame.
• Identifies, coordinates and carries out the training activity related to the staff with the objective of leading & motivating.

• Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
• Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
• Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
• Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
• Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
• Fulfil role‑specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Experience

• A university graduate in Chemical Engineering .
• 10 – 15 years experience in Lubricant or similar industry of which at least 7 -10 years experience in Production / Logistics / Quality systems and controls. Exposure to QHSE quality systems preferred.
• Strong man management skills with acumen for training, development nd human motivation.
