Job summary

BESIX is seeking a technically skilled supervisor to provide maintenance support for heavy equipment. You will supervise workshop personnel, allocate work, and ensure spare parts stock levels while maintaining safety and compliance with HSE regulations on site.

You will diagnose complex issues, coordinate repairs, manage ERP-based inventory, and report statuses to site management. The role offers exposure to large Middle East projects and a dynamic, international work environment with strong

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar maintenance role with heavy equipment.
• Experience with construction or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Proven knowledge of heavy equipment systems and diagnostics.

Why This Role Matters

Provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment while supervising workshop personnel and distributing work among teams. Ensure adequate spare parts inventory by ordering and managing stock levels. Diagnose complex equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs while monitoring the progress of maintenance jobs. Maintain compliance with HSE regulations in the workshop and on-site ensuring all team members follow safety procedures. Report maintenance activities and equipment status to site management and ensure all required records are properly maintained.

Qualifications :

Youre a Great Fit If You Have

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience working with construction or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of construction and heavy equipment systems.
• Experience with ERP systems for maintenance and inventory management.
• Familiarity with equipment diagnostic platforms such as CAT SIS MyLiebherr or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of CAD software.
