Job summary

Confidential in Dubai seeks an experienced Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring and project controls for construction operations.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple high-rise/residential/commercial projects, coordinate with PMs and technical teams, and ensure on-time delivery through rigorous planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10–12 years of construction planning experience.
• 6+ years of UAE/Dubai main contracting experience.
• Strong experience in high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, delay analysis, EOT claims, and recovery scheduling.
• Proven experience managing planning teams and multiple construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai construction practices, project execution, and consultant coordination.
• Excellent reporting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage master project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring across multiple construction projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules, revised programmes, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and potential delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial, Procurement, and Technical teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Conduct delay analysis, identify project risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims with proper planning documentation and delay analysis.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, productivity, and resource requirements.
• Ensure planning activities align with contractual obligations and project completion deadlines.
• Lead and supervise Planning Engineers across multiple projects.
