Job summary

Fatherson International Fze in Dubai is seeking a Planning Engineer to lead planning, scheduling, monitoring and control of complex construction and MEP projects. You will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and consultants to track progress and mitigate delays.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, strong scheduling skills and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil or related engineering field.
• Experience in construction, MEP, infrastructure or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; strong scheduling and delay analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress against baselines and milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress reports, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.
• Identify delays, analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Track manpower, materials and equipment for project activities.
• Attend progress meetings and provide clear scheduling updates to management.
