Job Description Planning Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineerrole based in Dubai. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain projectschedules, coordinate production planning activities, and align resourceallocation with project milestones. The role involves monitoring projectprogress, preparing reports, analyzing performance data, and supporting projectcontrol processes to identify risks and recommend corrective actions. ThePlanning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineeringteams, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, timely updates,and compliance with project timelines and requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidatesshould possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to developschedules and optimize resource utilization.
• Candidatesshould possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities totrack performance, manage risks, and support decision-making.
• Candidatesshould possess effective Communication skills to collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams and present clear project status updates.
• Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering or a related technical field, with experience inproject planning within industrial, construction, or infrastructuresectors.
• Proficiencywith project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera p6) and standardoffice software.

• Strongorganizational abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approachto time and task management.

• CreatedCSI-coded baseline schedules in compliance with international standardsfor annual cash flow planning.
• Managedproject schedule updates to reflect actual progress and forecast futureperformance.

• Produced look-ahead schedules and targetreports to ensure proactive planning of upcoming activities.
