Job summary

Parx cafe LLC in Dubai is seeking a skilled Pizza Chef to prepare high-quality pizzas per our recipes and standards. You will handle dough, toppings, and oven operation while ensuring consistent presentation and timely service.

You will maintain food safety, hygiene, and portion controls, monitor stock, and collaborate with the kitchen to deliver orders during busy periods. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or Pizza Maker in a food-service setting.
• Expertise in dough preparation, proofing, stretching, topping and baking.
• Experience using commercial pizza ovens.
• Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough, sauces, cheese, vegetables, meats, and other toppings according to approved recipes.
• Stretch, shape, top, and bake pizzas to required size and presentation.
• Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently with correct temperature and timing.
• Ensure pizzas are prepared promptly during busy service while maintaining quality.
• Follow recipe specifications and portion controls to minimize waste.
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Maintain mise en place and stock for each service.
• Store, label, rotate, and date ingredients according to FIFO.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of pizza station and equipment.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, sanitation at all times.
• Report damaged equipment or food-quality concerns immediately.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely orders.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing supplies.
• Participate in stock counts and help control waste.
• Support other kitchen duties as required.
