Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Piping Test Pack Coordinator to oversee the preparation, tracking and close-out of piping test packs for mechanical completion and commissioning on large oil and gas projects in the UAE.

The role requires a strong background in piping systems, P&IDs and isometrics, plus extensive QA/QC documentation control and coordination with construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams. A senior level with 10+ years in the industry is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in oil and gas, petrochemical, or EPC/PMC environments.
• Proven experience with piping test pack preparation, coordination, and QA/QC documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate piping test pack prep using approved P&IDs, isometrics, and line lists.
• Maintain and manage test pack registers from prep to handover.
• Interface with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning for test pack readiness.
