Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking an Executive Clinical Director, Pharmacy to provide high‑level leadership and strategic direction for pharmacy services. This role reports to the CMO and drives the plan for operations, outcomes and workforce at CCAD.

The position requires relocation to Abu Dhabi and leads inpatient and outpatient pharmacy, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and patient care programs, partnering with hospital leadership to advance pharmaceutical care, access and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited college is required.
• Master's degree in Healthcare/Management/Administration is required.
• PharmD degree is preferred.
• Current national license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of the annual strategic plan.
• Provide strategic leadership ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead application of digital and AI to support innovative pharmacy services.
• Oversee inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations and patient access functions.
• Plan, implement and manage pharmaceutical care across pharmacy and patient care areas.
• Coordinate operations to ensure service quality, regulatory compliance and financial performance.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness and staffing adequacy for safe pharmacy services.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff retention; maintain documented performance evidence.
