Job summary

CITY PHARMACY CO is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in the United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, VAT compliance, and managing pharmaceutical inventory accounting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a professional qualification, and 4–7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical distribution or healthcare.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT.
• Experience in pharmaceutical distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Lead month end and year end closing activities.
• Monitor and analyze gross margins by product.
