Job summary

Brunel and our client in the United Arab Emirates seek a Permit to Work Coordinator on a contract basis to drive safe, compliant operations across complex oil and gas projects. You will work with site teams and clients to manage PTW processes, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Role requires 7+ years, strong HSE/Operations Integrity knowledge, and experience with SIMOPs. You will supervise PTW during Construction and Commissioning phases, ensuring proper sign-offs and trainings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Prior work in Production Facility Projects.
• Prior PTW coordination experience as Coordinator or Authority.
• Experience in HSE / Operations Integrity.
• Strong technical knowledge of Process Equipment.
• Field Operations experience (OPF segment preferred).
• Familiarity with Management Systems.
• Good team communication.
• Good networking throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE measures per PTW and standards.
• Ensure compliance with Product Line Standards.
• Coordinate SIMOPs PTW with internal/external parties.
• Maintain PTW regulatory compliance.
• Supervise PTW for Construction under OPF scope.
• Approve Construction PTW with Construction Manager.
• Coordinate SIMOPs PTW with 3rd parties on site.
• Audit work sites pre-, during, and post-PTW.
• Ensure training of personnel on PTW roles.
• Review and issue permits for high-risk ops.
• Coordinate permit holders for SIMOPS.
• Maintain plant permits register and isolation status.
• Follow up to ensure proper lifecycle of permits.
• Ensure signatures and certificates are affixed.
• Adhere to PTW procedures across all phases.
• Assume HSE Site Supervisor role for PTW tasks if required.
