Job summary

Al-Futtaim is recruiting an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to provide dedicated perioperative care in a modern Dubai surgical setting. The role supports multiple specialties, upholds infection prevention and documentation standards, and requires DHA-licensed nursing practice with a minimum of five years in theatre.

You will work across general, orthopaedic, ENT and day surgery procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists and the surgical team in a patient‑safety focused

Qualifications

• DHA-licensed RN with 5+ years operating theatre experience.
• Proficient in aseptic technique and infection prevention.
• Experience in scrub and circulating roles within a theatre.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care per approved standards and patient needs.
• Prepare operating theatres: instruments, sterile supplies, equipment.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties during procedures.
• Assist surgeons, anaesthetists and clinical staff.
• Complete preoperative patient assessments and verify clinical info.
• Maintain sterile fields and aseptic technique.
• Follow surgical safety checklists and escalate risks.
• Monitor patients across perioperative pathway and handover.
• Document nursing records in EMR and clinical systems.
• Manage theatre stock and equipment as needed.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and ongoing education.
